Help me. I think I fucked up because my arms/deltoids feel like they are going to explode.
So 2 days ago I decided I wanted to get fit so I got my dad's old weight set out of storage and did some curls and using those arms thingies. I did about 40 mins of 8 KG lifting after never lifted in my life.
This was over 48 hours ago and I am still an agony. How do I continue lifting without exploding?
(pic is the what I have set up but not exactly because I just stole this pic off google)
Eat a lot of protein, soak in a hot bath to promote blood flow and lactate clearing and make sure you get plenty of sleep
It's what we call DOMS and it'll decrease over a few months as your body adapts to exercise

Would it be best to keep going at 8kg or go lighter for longer periods? Because being at college with arms feeling like they will fall off sucks but I don't want to quit because I actually enjoyed lifting when I was doing it but hate the aftermath.
sounds like a chronicly severe case of being a little bitch

This
You're just sore OP, but it's a different type than butthole-sore.

>keep going at zero weight or go lower
Really, OP? You'd have to be training on the moon to lift any less weight than you are now.

Honestly I don't know what I expected from unironic semen drinkers.

>curls for 40 minutes on a first workout
I wish that was enough to kill people because you deserve it for being so fucking retarded.

Lmao, don't talk shit on a fitness board if you're struggling with 8kgs.
What you need is increased weight, lower reps. Try 5 sets of 5 reps. With that setup, you can do curls, bench, some light squats, overhead press, skullcrushers, dumbbell flys, goblet squats, and plenty of other shit. Do some research, train for strength, and don't bitch.
