When you guys do pullups (narrow/medium/wide), are you going full arm extension or do you stop just before your arms go straight?
Currently I go for full range of motion but see so many guys stop short before pulling up.

just because you see people do quarter rep squats, does that mean you should too?
i go full arm slack between reps, its obvious you work harder and use more muscle to do a rep that way.
just treat every rep as a fresh pull-up
If those other people can only do these 3/4, what's the point of doing the move? Just do 4 good ones and do 3 sets of those and work your way up to your desired reps.
Blows my mind how people would rather do cheat reps than full ROM.

>full ROM

full arm extension
Old as fuck here and basically the only one doing full ROM pullups in my gym. Of course, <5% of the young eunuchs and idlers are even making the attempt. I pray for this country.
>says shit about no dead hang pull ups
>can't even do weighted pull ups
yeah
Aren't dead hang pullups bad for your joints though? I always leave a little bit of bend in my elbows for this reason.

Just before arms go straight, last thing you want is fucked elbows / tennis elbow.

I do one arm pull ups but yeah from a dead hang. I've always done from a dead hang to about chest level with regular pulls but with one arms I can barely get my chin above the bar.
