>ctrl f no weighted vest thread
alright /fit/, fat burger here, 6'1, 206 lbs.
I want to start jogging with weights and I have an old tacticool vest from when I was in the chair force that I threw rocks in order to add a little resistance to my runs. I'm going to do a test run on my morning workout, but my real question is will this get me shot in burger land? there is a trail I usually go out to where there is a lot of soccer moms and old women with call the police syndrome.
pic related, what I threw together.

running with weight is dumb, what do you hope to gain from doing it?

You'll only end up severely messing up your knees and back.
If you really are fat, even a simple jog will be enough to wear you out, without the added weight.
Do yourself a favor and start running normally.

Running with weights will destroy your knees. If you must use a vest then go for a hike or do some stairs.

i'm still trying to drop weight, and i am not getting much out of just jogging, so I want to add some weight to it.
The royal chair force?

Let me get this straight
You put rocks in your tactical vest...to make it heavier?
I'm on my feet for about 75% of my work day. Will wearing a weighted vest give me any gainz? I'm already somewhat fit.

I'd just walk with it, it'll be hard and the lower intensity exercise is better for burning fat anyway

No, you'll only improve your ability to stand around with a weighted vest for longer.
>will running with more strain on my joints make me more fit?
No.
