/fit/, how do you focus during your lifts? What do you think of? My mind constantly wanders off, and lose motivation in the middle of my lift. I finish it, but there is no relief. no motivation. I feel hollow during lifting. How do you keep your thoughts at lifting /fit/?

I constantly think about and make sure my form is 100%
then I invision Mark Rippetoe telling me my form is shit
then I invision /fit/ doing the same then telling me to kill myself

Well, I'm the kind of guy whose brain never shuts up (tested 135IQ, gifted, yay....).

During a lift is the only time where my mind goes completely blank, it's just me and feeling my muscles work against the strain.
So you could say I keep my thoughts on lifting by thinking about how my muscles feel I guess.

I can't focus on the muscles or the rep number, they lumber somewhere in the back of my head butso many thoughts just crawl and smother my brain during lifting, it's killing me

ofc it's useless, not even an intelligence profile has a lot of merits. Yet it's somewhat of a guideline and it was information "vital" to my whole case, and I thought giving a number seems less arrogant than "blabla I'm so fucking smart look at me".


Love /fit/s attitude of "whatever makes you become a better person" yet when someone gives input and wants others to give their 2 cents to your situation everyone is like "lol cringe, square up, nospeculsnewflakes" as if I didn't know that shit to some extent already
