on monday i did my usual workout with no problems. today i hit a new squat PR and then completed my workout like any other day. went home, took a shower and started to eat my breakfast.
that was when it happened. it slowly crept up and now it feels like i have DOMS all over my body accompanied with the same tired feeling like you have when you have flu. everything aches and i feel like i was hit by a bus. i'm about to go straight to bed because it's only getting worse and i can't do anything else.
what's going on? i've had DOMS before, mainly after my first day or if i took a break for a week, but that felt entirely different and was usually localized and mild while i can feel this shit all over my body and it's really intense.
anyone experienced anything like this?

did 155 on monday and was feeling extra good today during warmup so i did 160 kg work sets. i won't lie, last 2 reps felt like hell and i had to take a 10 min rest after it because i was weak.
also did dips to failure so that combined with squat might have been the cause. i probably pushed too much because my deload week is coming up and i wanted to give it all. there hasn't been any change in my program for quite some time now.
i don't think i got sick. felt fine in the morning and when i got back. this shit hit me insanely fast. in a span of 10 min i went from feeling good to like i was run over. was hot shower the cause? i have no idea.
I think it's best to consult a doctor over this, as opposed to an anime forum. Sounds serious
