I've been getting some fairly intense calf cramps while squatting and deadlifting lately.
I've been squatting and deadlifting for about 8-9 months now, used to never get em before.
What's this about? Should I take some minerals and vitamins as supplements or some shit? What should I do to stop them?
Thank you.
drink more water, take taurine.

Noted, thanks.
Should I also stretch em or roll em with some shit to relax em?

cramps are caused by magnesium, potassium or calcium deficiency. also drink lots of water like the guy above said

Drink more water
Stretch more regularly (and go through body motions that force you to use the full range of your calves).
Other than that, basic nutrition takes care of the rest. If you're noticeably sore or cramping after a full day of working out you're not eating right.

My nutrition is pretty solid but I might be lacking on water intake. I'll also start stretching calves after every workout from now on.
I never train calves, should I throw some calf raises once a week?
