I switched to bulking on PPLxPPL from doing ICF 5x5 for six months. for a month now although i made some decent progress this past month (+5 kg on bench,+10kg on back squat, +5kg on front squat and +5kg on my rows) I feel way softer and "weaker" when i'm not in the gym, I went from 162 to 166 at 5"10 during this time since i'm only "lean" bulking.
What's happening guys?
Also this is my first time bulking what are some things i should keep in mind and what should i expect?

I do PPLxppl, smaller ones being light weight sessions. You might be overtraining m8,
I used to go hard on every session, but it seems I can progress better on all lifts with
taking one easy season on each type of day each week

nah its fine, gonna take a couple of months to cut, honestly looking forward to it. Also feels good in the winter to not be skelly, wind cant blow straight through the bones anymore.
With easy I mean same repsXsets but with about 5 pound easier weights on all exercises. You need to get a feel of how much your muscles can take, sometimes I have to even lower on the weight on easy days.
I always go 5x5 and the occasional drop set to really pump desu
