Human body is a wonderful thing. If you break a bone it will heal up with additional bone tissue so its stronger in that particular place and theres less chance for it snap again. Same with the skin. You get scars which are thicker and more dense than healthy skin to avoid damage to the same place. Would this theory work for muscle tissue? If, instead of lifting weights, I would beat the shit out of my biceps and stretch them daily, would the muscle increase in size?
