Who /earlylifting/ here?
I usually lift quite late in the evening but I'm finding I'm too tired after work and uni now so I'm going to start lifting at 6am when the gym opens. Any advice on how to make the transition easier and how to ensure I get a good nights sleep? About to leave for my first morning session so will read replies between sets.
Shit I posted the wrong image, please don't ban me mods it was a genuine accident.

I've started doing the same. Lifting after work was difficult so started climbing into bed around 9:30, asleep by 11. Best sleep I've ever had. Lifting is a joy again and I have my entire evenings free
Home gym master race of course

this.
honestly don't think I could have survived as an early lifter if I wasn't a part of the master race.

actual tip - you don't really need to eat before a workout. A sugarless coffee is a nice boost, though.

yeah I had a large black coffee before lifting this morning, no food at all and it felt great. Gym was basically empty too I loved it.

I have a home gym too but I'm away for uni, I miss it so much :( Lifting while blasting my own music and having my dog chill in the corner is such a joy
