If i go for a run in the morning then lift in the afternoon will it negatively affect my gains?

As long as your nutrition is OK and your run isnt 100% exhausting you, you're fine.

Not op
Running is a big part of my routine (nothing crazy, 8 miles at the maximum) and its important for me to feel healthy physically and mentally. I'm also fairly new to lifting so I have some questions and I've been waiting for this thread.
Does running/not running while lifting make that big of a difference?
As long as I'm getting enough calories and protein runs after my lifts shouldn't affect my recovery or gains right?

It doesn't work that way but that's the result. At the first stage a lot of animals were able to eat from the tree. The trees who happened to have mutations that let them grow taller, did so and could better sustain their life because they didn't lose as many leafs to different animals. The animals who's main nutrition came from said leafs had random mutations occurring where their necks were longer. The ones with longer necks adapted better to the taller trees and managed to survive. Both steps sustain each other and make each other happen. The only thing that is not shown in that picture are the million years apart from each picture and the trillions of dead animals who couldn't procreate due to them not being able to get to their main source of nutrition.

That's some Lamarckian heresy you got there, senpai.
