So this 70 year old powerlifer at my gym who's been lifting for 40 year tells me that i dont have to spent hours every week doing cardio..
All i have to do is row 300 meters after each workout on a rowing machine..
I have to try and reach 300 meters before 1 minutes..
Is this bullshit?
It'll burn alot of calories in the short run but the better way would be to do it at a moderate pace over a longer period of time

I hate doing cardio man.
This guy has got all the other powerlifters do this every time.
It completely drains you. Only done it once on a bulk though..
Gonna be cutting in febuary
Just dont wanna do hours of cardio feel me

Is HIIT a meme?

good for conditioning, bad for anything else
hard cardio like that will cut into your recovery a lot more than LISS at a moderate pace which makes it pretty much the worst option for a powerlifter who needs to handle high training volumes
