The key for me was to talk to people in social settings where it wasn't "exhausting".

Whether or not you have some level of social anxiety, learning to be in a social state where you aren't pushing to a high level effort conditions you just like a good heavy lift.

I love library events (guest speakers & readings), local orchestra concerts & other easygoing shit. I tend to hate the large local music festivals bc there's way too many drugs there. Even if I like the music there's a ton of assholes fighting and being a complete distraction
