I don't mind the strain of my workouts.
I don't mind the restrictive diet.
I don't mind the pain of doms. What I'm having a hard time coping with is how when I have leg doms my legs just give out and I have to explain to a confused spectator why I'm sprawled out on the ground.
It actually happened once and it makes it hard to effectively workout with intensity when I can't keep myself firm.

stop lifting as heavy for a while and build back up. If you've been lifting as long as your post implies then you shouldn't be getting doms anymore
