where .... where has time gone ?
Time is a linear construct, it goes no where, you are just on a different point on the line.

why does it feel like it goes by so much faster as years pass if it's linear
>>39286307
Because the longer you live, the shorter a year is in proportion to all the other years you've lived. When you're 6, a year can feel like forever because you've only experienced 6 years of life. When you're 21, a year feels shorter because it's comparatively much smaller than the collective years you have lived so far.

that's an interesting way to look at it, thanks
Hopefully time goes by quickly and I arrive at the day I die soon

Time is a construct and therefore does not exist. It is just a flimsy numerical system used to attempt to chart progress.
Isn't it 5 years?

That graph is BS:

It isn't just "a way to look at it", it's just how we, humans, perceive time
As our collection of memories get bigger, each passing moment becomes a smaller grain of sand in the desert of our lives
Then we die and it's all lost

that's depressing as shit
