I've finally decided to do something about my weight and I want to know the best way to go about it
I'm not like huge or anything, but I'm tired of these moobs and belly fat.
I don't specifically want to get swole, just leaner while not being lanky. I don't have access to a gym and won't for a while but I can probably spring for some weights.

Youre gonna need a gym, son. Weight train to build a foundation, you'll lose fat faster thay way. Download a calorie tracking app like fatsecret and log all your food, and to set a daily intake specifically for weight loss. Cardio 3 times a week, 20 minutes. Most importantly, stick with it. The results take a long time but they're worth it.

This. I read it for the first time just now after a lot of shitposting and browsing the high test girl threads and fat people hate threads and that sticky is pretty detailed and seemingly helpful.
