>fit is about life long improvement
>tells everyone a 3pl8 squat is hard and a good achievement, lowering standards and over all potential

3pl8 is a goal for NOVICE lifters
It is what you aim for in 6 months of liftan
>>39239427
1/2/3/4 is a good beginner benchmark
> hurr your not paying yourselves hard enough
>>39239435
Agreed, but a lot of people on here act as if its hard to achieve.
>>39239435
I've been in gyms on and off for 10 years. I've never seen anyone who wasn't obviously on roids squat over 120kg with good form.
>>39239452
Most people on here are dyel skelly
>>39239435
>6 months
Sure, if you're a skelly, 4 months should be more than enough.

Idk what gyms you go to but there are a handful of dudes I see do 3 plate at our YMCA
> tfw 7.5kg away from 3pl8

2/3/4/5 is the new 1/2/3/4
>>39239492
> finally reach 1/2/3/4
> new milestone is 2/3/4/5
> finally reach that
> new milestone is 3/4/5/6
FUCK OFF
>>39239462
I believe you, but it doesn't mean a 3 pl8 squat is a big achievement. The reality is that very few people train the squat heavy and often, not to mention that most people train incorrectly in general and never make much progress on any exercise. For people who care about getting a strong squat, and follow a solid routine, it's relatively simple to get to 3pl8.

yeah i wanna see you ohp 100 fucking kilos. that shit is hard and 99% of people on this board/in the gym won't ever be able to do it.

> tfw only just finally fucking reached 50kg and mfw imagining double that fucking weight for OHP
