Lay in to me /fit/... Is it retarded to bulk when I look like this?
I've been lifting for a year, made bad progress due to shitty yo yo dieting (massive bulks, massive cuts). I was also out of the gym for about 3 months total during this time travelling.
I'm 5'7" 63kgs and lifts (5RM) are :
Bench - 62.5kgs
Squat - 90 kgs
DL - 105 kgs
I've been cutting for around 3 months now and the weight hasn't been going down recently - I dropped from 73kgs to 63kgs in the first 2 months and I feel my metabolism is fucked now. I did it intentionally though as my lifts were so low that they didn't really go down more than 5 kgs.
I've basically been doing SS all this time.
Now I want to bulk following Lyles GBR (my lifts are low but I'm getting bored off SS) - is this a bad idea?

defiantly, youl start looking leaner once your lats start flaring out so bulking at this stage is a win win

You gain 1.6lbs of fat per month this way at 200cal surp. That's fucking nothing. Lean bulk for 9 months, cut for 3, repeat. Enjoy your clean ass gains.
What were your lifts like at the peak of your bulks?
I clicked this thread because you look like my "before" lifting pic, when I was 6ft and 130lbs (I assume your legs arent as skinny as mine were)
