You would have said the same thing about me as a skinny thin wristed faggot when I started. Now I pull 545 at 185 while lifting is on the back burner during med school. It's not super elite, but if I roided, bulked and added another 40 giving pounds of body weight, and could focus on training rather than education, I'm certain I could add a couple hundred pounds to my deadlift and be in the Clarence range. Before I started lifting it would have seemed just stupidly impossible for a twiggy dyel cunt. Now those numbers aren't so abstractly high.

There's a lot of talk in here about genetics, and I agree that physically they are incredibly powerful. Now, I wonder, just how heavy a role do genetics play in the mind? Does anyone know of any studies that indicate predispositions to certain behaviors/attitudes due to their "mental" genetics?

I find the brain to be bretty fascinating, as I feel that that is what allows us to interface with the world. All the we feel, smell, see, are all altered in a way due to our mind. It'd be cool to know if due to genetics, you see the world a certain way.

This was all years ago. He was aiming to get a grant from the irish government to train to enter the olympics. He was going to get a fat cheque which would allow him to train full time with olympic coaches. To qualify for it he had to compete in the euro championships but he fucked up and didn't even total and the missed out on training bux.
