Has anyone here had a pilonidal cyst? pic related. i noticed a bump near the top of my buttcrack and a small brown dot like pic related near it. no pain or sign of infection so im hoping i dont have to get it surgically removed. if so i would probably do smolov jr for bench and go light on squats.

i had it for like a year and a half. Hurt like hell.

After a while I was in the shower one night and the heat caused so much pain that it popped easily and it drained blood and puss in the shower for the next 3 days.

After that it kind of went away on its own combined with some prescribed antibiotics.

Luckily I didn't need surgery. Sometimes it gets itchy if I rest too much on the spot, but it's not there anymore pretty much.

Yours doesn't even look as bad as mine.
>>
I had it develop just before I went on a rock climbing trip. Was the most uncomfortable car journey I've ever taken, then had to get it lanced in some tiny medical clinic in the middle of nowhere

I did have surgery, so I can't really give you any advice to avoid it. I had 6 of these fuckers intertwined in my ass crack so I had to get about an inch and a half sized chunk of flesh removed. It hurt a lot and I basically had to wait a year for it to close up. I could start lifting after a few months, though. Good luck!

go see a doctor NOW.

I've had surgery 3 times for it (ass crack is literally stitched together).

The longer you leave it the worse it will get. It won't disappear on it's own.

SEE A FUCKING DOCTOR TODAY

Had surgery.
Had it for about one year. Pain went from 'barely there' at first to 'this shit doesn't let me even think' and a fever before I went to a doctor.

Luckily surgery was performed by a Plastic surgeon rather than a regular one. ( Medical insurance perks here) and scar is almost unnoticeable now.
Was scared about the procedure, but I would've done it sooner if I knew it was that simple.

Forgot to mention, was lifting moderately in about 20 days, regular routine in 5 weeks.

I've removed these fuckers before. If you can reach it lance it with a small needle from like a sewing kit to open it up then take a Bobby pin and position it so the center of the cyst is in the center of the bobby pins loop then press down and slide the pin and it should pop. Also put a hot washcloth or a hot compress over it to help draw it to the surface
>>
>>39142328
Wash your ass 2-3 times a day with soap and water. You really don't want to have one of those things blow up on you.
>>
>>39142328
have had one for about ten years now. i think it's developed into a fistula because i can feel the pressure in the cyst change when i fart.

sometimes it bursts open when i am shitting and have to clean up the blood, but other than that it doesn't bother me.

Had mine for a good 5 - 6yrs. First time i noticed it was when it popped, thought it was a normal cyst, went to the doctor, he lanced it, the thing was full of puss and hair, gave me some antibiotics, but the little fucker kept coming back.

Over the course of the next 3 or 4yrs I had it lanced 2 other times, and eventually said fuck it. Went to a specialist, guy took a little more than a golf ball sized chunk out of my ass and i've never looked back (huehuehue). Recovery was quick considering, i started driving again after 8 days, exercise after 4 weeks, lifting again after 8weeks.

See a specialist anon, that shit is embarrassing as fuck, and the "moist" feeling in your crack is super weird and uncomfortable.

Godspeed anon

What is going on here?
where does this Come frome and how do I see if I'm affected?
>>
Had one last winter, never ended up hurting that much. Just drained it myself and cleaned it every day until it healed.

This. Help us. How to know if i have this?

If your ass crack is leaking fluids and it hurts to sit, you have it. Otherwise don't worry.
>>
>>39142328
I had one a month ago. If it doesn't get infected you'll be fine. If he does, it is going to hurt a lot and you will probably need a surgery to remove it. This is what the doctors told me
>>
I had one the size of a pea come up over the summer and it went away

never popped or got infected or anything. should i worry guys
>>
>>39142328
had it on and off for years, eventually went away after losing weight. havent had it in like 4 years
>>
>>39142328
If it remains dormant then it's all good. It can rupture and then you'll have to get it drained at a clinic.
If it starts to become uncomfortable you should have it examined.
>>
>>39148003
nah, just keep up your hygiene. sitting for hours with sweaty asscrack can make it come back again
>>
I think I used to have this a couple of years and I make sure I'm the shower to clean lose hairs to prevent this, and I haven't had major troubles since I keep up my hygiene.
>>
>>39146938
this
