Pectus excavatum thread...

I'm 24yo at 6ft 1". Been full skelly my whole life. Never been that hung up on my body given how it looks and have actually had my fair share of feminine attention ( im very good for body shots).

Anyway started consciously upping my calorie and protein intake over the last 2 months in an effort to see if I can gain a bit of weight/mass. Been working out (pretty lightly) about three times a week with kettlebells and weights alongside this. Gone up from 152lbs to 162.

Any suggestions or advice for what I should work on? Fellow pectus bros get in here!

Depends on your goals. My body is very similar to yours. Same pectus depth, same arms, hands, shoulder width. Amazing. I'm 5'11" and was 135 lbs, now 161, I want to get 185 (one day).

I suggest you work on everything. Not to sound descending because I'm like you, but all is still lacking. It's not like you only need to work on certain muscles. Do a typical linear progression 3x a week (SS, SL5x5, GSLP, ICF, ...) it will work on everything.

I'm did GOMAD for 2 months (now 3/4 GOMAD), it's good.

Pectus with that depth isn't bad btw. Never met anyone who knows about it. Have some med bros (swimming) and even they never told me. I learned about it on fit only. Keep going your shoulders will look amazing.

I am a fellow pecto bro. I always thought it was related to the doing a lot of swimming as a child (as in multiple times a week doing training). My dad has it as well but he did the same. I think dick size is more related to being a lanklet.

No advice really, I'm transitioning from skinnyfat myself, inb4 not going to make it.

I find deadlifts have helped pull my flared ribs downwards so that helps, and a bigger shoulder and chest helps the aesthetics.

Sometimes when I do a heavy deadlift I can feel my heart beating on my sternum, pretty scary shit. I would suggest doing cardio and light lifts for a bit to make sure it won't explode.
