>did squats 2 days ago
>legs still store
>today is squat day
JUST
>he fell for the SS meme
nigga do some foam rolling and warm up progressively and slowly before your workout
and next time do some LIGHT cardio, or any activity for that matter on your off days
old golden rule of "walk it off" works, gets the blood flowing, washes out all that micelar acid and shit, maybe add some LISS cardio post workout
worst thing you could do is bust out your reps, get your meals in and just spend your time shitposting without movement, thats how you develop muscle tightness and DOMS, not to mention imbalance
>tfw you don't get quad doms anymore
Man I miss that feeling
leg soreness is a meme that was started by the brosephs who always skip leg day
if you hit a muscle group every week, it stops getting sore
also why are you doing squats so often
I know for a fact if you're on /fit/ you're lifting for appearance so get off that ss shit you're not training to be a linebacker

Shawn Ray looking stylish in that pic OP.
>>38997274
Stretching and warming up does not prevent or reduce doms you brosplit mong.
You have DOMs because you skip leg day all the time and you've only just got into a routine with decent frequency. Eat lots and keep frequency nice and high (not once every three weeks).

OP here
i'm training so i can join my university's basketball team without being a completely useless piece of shit.
>>38996887
Two possibilities here: A) Not training legs frequently enough; B) Using too much weight too quickly
>>38996887
Eat more and sleep more
It's Squatober. It's time to Squat every day.
>>38996887
> tfw can no longer get leg doms
I miss that feeling
It's weird. When i got dooms i feel like i must move and do something. Its soreness but Its like my body knows that stillness is bad.
Anyone feel likethat?
>>38997520
I squat three times a week and I don't get leg DOMS anymore.
Pretty fucking neato
>>38996887
Drink a couple ounces of pickle juice after your workout. It has legitimate benefits.I started doing it and have severity reduced soreness.
>>38998206
doesn't acidity increase the ketosis of your muscles?
> le epic stair battle! Hahah memes :)
But
Tomorrow is leg day for me, fellow Schutstaffel bro. Just eat more and recover better.
>>38998396
i just drank a cup of milk with a spoonful of protein. will that help?
>>38996887
Did you just recently start squatting? DOMS usually only occurs when you're first starting out with a new routine. After a few weeks, it goes away. Leg DOMS seems to take the longest to subside, in my experience. Keep the faith, anon.
>>38998536
i started after a long break.
Man I got the opposite problem
>Skipping squats for a week cause of groin strain 1 month in
>Body doesn't feel sore enough after workout
JUST
>>38998548
Ah, there ya go. Keep squatting and you'll be fine. When the DOMS is gone, don't fall into the mindset of "I'm not getting sore these days, so my routine must not be working anymore." Lack of soreness is a just a perk that comes along with continued lifting. Good luck, man!
>>38996887
I used to get sore when I only squatted 2 times a week. I now squat 4x a week and never get sore. Don't know but it seems like more frequency=less DOMS.
>>38998584
4 times a week? Damn, son! That's definitely more than I'm willing to do...
>>38998584
I'm new so I still get the doms. I did a shit ton of thrusters Monday then squats and all sorts of leg centric movements the next day. I drive a manual and could barely let go of the clutch properly on my way home Tuesday. It was like all of a sudden my glutes got together and were like fuck this I'm out. They felt hot swollen and heavier... Next morning I had to roll out of bed and cling to the railing after snapping a photo of my day's new challenge.
I went for a 3 miles hike today and coukdn't agree more, movement and h2o seem to be the best thing. Feels good.
