There is a huge difference. Dirty bulking will make you gain fat and a small bit of muscle. And after the three month bulk you do the two month cut and your back with what you're started with.

I don't look that thin, but 157 sounds way too low for 6'3"

FTS, stay maintenance build out your lifts as much as you can take it slow. No reason to bulk and cut when you can just bulk slow. Your body doesn't want to cut. Cutting kills your test. Your at a perfect weight to really build a good base and could probably hit 1234 before even getting to 165 and you'd look fucking great

weird because i bulked way too hard till 240 (5'10). Got to 1/2/3/4 then cut down to 180. now at about 195 with 1/2/3/3 lifts. had back problems during cut and couldn't really train squats or deads.
already feeling like i need to cut because losing muh abs.

Kys pls. There is not need to bulk after the first year of gains. After that a 100-200kcal is enough to make you grow as you won't gain anything near 1kg of muscle a month. 500kcal surplus x 30 days = 15000kcal = about 2kg of fat a month - the muscle gains.
