Over-training from planking?

Just do weighed crunches for abs and lower back and obliques

generally fix your cores, then check your time every 2 weeks, come back after 2 months, make new thread and report

my starting best was 30 seconds.
Now for one set, I do..
1min normal plank
1min left side
1min right side
1min normal plank

and I do two of those with like a 2-3 minute rest.
Im 6 foot at 178-ish lbs. I've got like 18%bf. So you can feel my abs pump but there is a layer of fat there.

It's a bitch but you get pumped. I don't always get the last minute in but as long as you go as long as you possibly can, till muscle failure. Don't worry about it. Make sure you rest up and try it on the next abs day.

planks are easy, it's just mind over matter. It might hurt, but you can't let yourself quit. Go until you think you have to quit, and then do 15 seconds more. 15 seconds is small.
next time 30 seconds more. etc. It's okay if your form suffers a little bit, it will still help to build muscle and willpower.

I used to have trouble on a 2 minute plank, worked myself up to 5 minutes though.

It all started when we had to do planks one night in the army reserve, 1-3 minute sets and time stopped if anybody dropped to rest. that's some fuckin motivation to keep going.
