Cheap shit I found on sale at the Wal Mart or similar places. I'm going to be sweating all over this shit and occasionally rolling around on the ground with it on. I'm also going to be rubbing it on machines other people have sweated and rubbed their shit all over. So it's going to get washed frequently, and thus fade and tear fast.

This. Over half of the ChinaMart(tm) Starter brand and And1 stuff has held up just as much as te expensive stuff. Even when I get rips in say the track pants, they're easy to sew up. I have more pairs that I'm wearing 10 years later that held better than the Adidas, UR, and Saucony stuff.
HOWEVER DO NOT GET THE STARTER SHOES. They are pieces of trash that ruin your feet. Do not skimp on footwear.
