Yes. It doesn't do shit. The stomach is acidic, so as soon as the water hits the stomach any alkalinity is neutralized.

IIRC, water has a pH of around 7 - 7.5. There's no way that "pure" water would be alkaline.

idk i work in a call center and this one dude talked to me for 30 minutes about how he made a wealthy living curing plant cancer with alki water.. And that people cancer simply cant exist in alkaline blood.. Tbh all the science went over my head coz i dont get enough alkaline water but what he was goin on about made logical sense, people are batteries, water supplied to us is dead, he went on about how you see celebs like charlie sheen with HIV kickin strong and how he had tiger blood but really it was alki water, basically stated thats why you see these celebs with cancer aids etc etc cover it up and be totally fine. Told me to take a power drill and ad the kitchen aid attachment and use the battery up in a bucket of water then drink the energized water, emailed him asking for reccomended reading and to fix the problems he called for in the first place. To be honest not sure one way or the other if i should buy into it and never bothered with my own research but id believe alki water being good :)

Probably true since the rest of your body would also die if your blood become too alkaline.

Blood pH is strictly regulated between 7.35-7.45 for a reason.

Blood regulates hardcore dude. The entire body is built around it. Your digestive system and the blood circulation in your body is entirely divorced through multiple massive biological regularor and filter systems.

The pH of your blood changes all the time within a set range. The reason we can feel as uncomfortable or more from not exhaling than from not inhaling is that exhaling removes carbon dioxide from your blood. Basically, the more time that has passed since the last time you exhaled, the more acidic your blood gets. No amount of alkaline water is going to affect the pH of your blood as much as inhaling and exhaling.
