i prefer to do my deads conventional and hit my quads in the hack squat machine + prowler pushes.

My gym has no trapbar, but they have ultra heavy dumbbells, can I use 2 dumbbells instead?

How well does it work legs compared to squats? I'm on a cut, and recently I've been sucking on squats, and having to deload for no apparent reason. It's discouraging me a lot.
