How important are deadlifts for making it brahs? I really fucking hate doing them because I feel like my form is shit even though I've read tons of shit and watched a lot of videos. I'd rather just not do them at all.

personally i find that i race towards snap city when doing anything more than about 5 reps. singles, doubles, triples, most times fives, no pain at all.
secondly, use a belt if you're not using one, and use it for every single warmup and (of course) working set.
other than that, you might just be in a position where you feel like shit and you'll have to work through that, bud.

Theyre pretty much the best but just jumping into full deadlift is asking to tweak some shit and get injured. You're better off like breaking the full lift down into 2 seperate exercises to do. So like for deadlift you'd do some heavy rack pulls and good mornings on Day1 and then on Day 2 or 3 do some assisted hex bar pulls where theyre slightly elevated on a board or stack of plates. Do that for 2 or 3 weeks then go into the full deadlift.
tldr Deadlifts build a physique like no other exercise but take it slow to avoid stupid injuries

3x8 is literally retarded, do 1x5 with like 4 warp up sets. For example 5x 135 lbs, 5x 155 lbs 5x 175 lbs 5x 195 lbs 5x 210 lbs

I'm a pain and injury massage therapist. I quit doing deadlifts after seeing dozens of clients in lifelong pain from fucking themselves up doing them or something similar.
I just wish I stopped doing OHP too but now my shoulder is fucked.
