Occasionally I'll set aside a set of what I call "conans". Go to the cable machine where you can set the height of approach angle. While standing: Position it at the top and perform a movement something like in the photo (but standing) Ensure you keep your hips and feet in the same plane. Destroys your inner/outer obiques, transverse abdominus, and abdominals. I then position the approach angle at shoulder height like a baseball swing. Then the final set starting at the bottom with movement toward the ceiling.

As a natty you can only gain so much weight in your upper body in a particular time, I'd say if you eat 3000+ you should do full body every workout, maybe different intensities but you'll make little mass gains if you only train upper.

Great upper body compounds are Barbell Rows(all variations), high pulls (or whatever they're called, upright rows, snatches, ohp, Overhead squats, behind the neck ohp, standing tricep extensions(not sure if those are a compound)

What bf% should I start bulking at to get thicc?

I'm 5'9, 170 pounds, chubby as fuck and still cutting (have lost 50 pounds thus far). But due to either genes or sports when I was a kid I have a very wide, stocky frame and as I lost weight the fridge mode aesthetic is revealing itself, just need to lose this fat and go up from there I think.

I don't think that's gonna cut it, it's actually rather amazing how much literally any muscle group responds to high volume shit, you can squat at 60% 1rm for the whole week and then add something to your max once a week for example.

It's your call, you gotta lift a lot, I would also recommend riding a bike or so something. I'd say bump your intake to 3500 first, see where it takes you, then to 4000 and then to 4500+ if you want. I gained a little fat and threw in a short maintenance time due to school as well(ate at a little more than maintenance during my 4-6th month or so probably)

I always did a full body workout, you can divide your body into the back and legs if you will because everywhere else you won't gain noticeable mass (muscle mass) and hit those with different intensitities, I always did a lot of upper body and have a really rather strong upper and back, which I appreciate because Big legs only look good (if at all to some """people""") when you have a big upper.
If you want a good tip:
Bulk really hard for 2-3 months adding at least 15 lbs and then just bulk with 3000 kcal for a few more, it was pretty much what I did (but again, you gotta see where it takes you, I gained a little blubber but you can check my collage, it's honestly not much)

Also, drink milk, pic related, 1 liter (approx. 1/4th+ of a gallon) and I drink 1 row(a gallon and change) each day now, it's got fats protein, sugar, zinc, vit d, magnesium, calcium, everything you'll need

its really part of every lift, desu. it's one of the reasons people have such a hard time on bench, ohp, and squats -- they don't create a stable base through their abs and legs. which is what using a belt is for -- to push against to create a stable core.

so many people would go up an extra 20-30 pounds on their lifts (maybe more) if they just flexed their abs and stabilized their core.
