Why are planks so fucking hard? I can usually do 1 min at first, then it goes down to 45 seconds even after a few minutes of rest. I'm not even a fat fuck 6'1, 160 lbs but my core is so weak.
Does it get any better? I've been doing this for a week now.

Try 3 minutes each, front/left/right and that's just as part of my 13 point (1300rep) calisthenics warm up before I lift.
Just force it, every day, unless you have a genuine injury. And if that injury came from planks, you should also just kill yourself.
You'll get tougher, or you'll kill yourself.
Either way is better than being a pussy.

I thought I could go longer for a while. Then I realized that my form sucks. I can hold it ~45 seconds before my form breaks down and I shift into an easier position (which I cand hold for a total of maybe 2 minutes).
