I was probably around 6' 132ish there.
Lots of gain goblin cardio (soccer) and relatively low appetite. I was a picky eater growing up and never really developed a large appetite. Bulking is way harder for me as pathetic as that sounds.

It's disheartening not being able to go all out. Gains have slowed down massively. I don't know how bad your foot is, but mine required surgery and pins put in it. I did my foot stretches and now my foot isn't my limiting factor, just my back.

Right now, its all about consistency. Hit the gym 4-5 times a week. Lift what I can comfortably lift. Slow reps, and large sets to get the muscles burning.

Keep it up. We will still make it, just takes longer.

Well I don't want to really just eat whatever the hell I want and be a sloppy lifter... I just know that it'll take me 2-3 years atleast lifting hard to get the physique I want. With gear I can maybe jump forward quicker then transition back into natural.

That's an extra year of my life feeling more confident, being attractive, and less time maybe missing out on meeting a real, worthwhile significant other.

Seems like only downside is that you could become lazy as shit and reliant on drugs to be fit. A serious concern honestly. That and increased risk of joint injury.

I don't look amazing, but I've also only done strength training and never any sort of BB split. And my (lower body) numbers aren't bad right now. 235 kg squat, 240 kg DL, 150 kg clean.

Press/BP aren't so good...I don't know the maxes. But most I've pressed is 74 kg x 5 and most I've BP is 99 kg x 5. But these are my current focus so hopefully they'll improve soon. :)

I'm fatter than 3 years in now (PERMABULK). It says 5 years there, was a typo it's 7 years.

Routines I did were SS, 5x5, madcows, texas method, Sheiko, Smolov, Smolov Jr. The cube, 5/3/1, Kelly baggets high frequency benching, Westside, Arnolds high volume high frequency mass blueprint disgusting fucking horrible routine, GVT, 5/3/1 with GVT, Ultimate Diet 2.0 (Fucking loved the recomp results on that and how I still gained strength, shame it was so difficult to fit in with normal life and hard to follow)

2x a day routine by lyle mcdonald too, a hybrid of PHAT, some GVT and westside. Didn't work amazing, just gained a lot of weight while eating too many carbs and became pre diabetic for a while and gained a bit too much fat (peaked at 106kg) and little strength gains
But my capacity increased.

I also did couch to 5k lol
Now I just maintain strength and cut while living a normal life and being less religious at the gym. Don't compete in any PL feds anymore, never did bodybuilding. Just a PhD student now that's a little stressed.

Specific diets I did were UD 2.0s diet plan, GOMAD ( fucking horrendous and I got fat, did that with SS, big mistake guys.), high carb diets low fat (like 15g fat and mostly fish oil) which worked great but my cholesterol wasnt good.

Squats and DLs suck because they're hard, especially DL. DLs have the advantage of boosting ego since most people can do around 4 plate DLs after a year or so of lifting. Squats are, for the general lifting population, just hard.

But you're doing yourself a disservice by not doing them. And once you get good and into heavier territory, you'll probably grow to like them.

Do SS for 3 months only, Learn both high and low bar squat so I could see which suits me best (high bar - oly shoes are wonders) same for sumo and conventional pull (I do conventional, learned to do it as if I was doing the first pull of a clean now with oly shoes, it's somewhat quicker but more lower back intensive and quad intensive, which suits me)

Don't do GOMAD for gods sake, a high protein moderate carb diet low fat diet would of worked fine, just enough of all macros to keep blood sugar stable, cholesterol good, protein not too high not too low and enough calories for energy (you can grow on relatively low calories - relative to your maintenance)
Then skimp Madcows and Texas/5x5 and just do 5/3/1 and assess a year after that. Bulk my first 2 years, not so much like I did on Gomad (58kg to 88kg :/ I was JUST drinking GOMAD, I got very fat in 6 months and had to cut)

Do kelly baggets high frequency benching if you have good enough basic benching form (I use a little arch and leg drive of course, tucked in elbows - mark bells slingshot helped me with maintain form at my shoulder girdle, not just maintain stability of my arch and core.)
Worked wonders and got me from my stalled 100kg 5/3/1 bench (SS got me to 70kg, 5/3/1 to 100kg) to 125kg in 8 weeks. Then I stalled again and went backwards in strength.
Smolov Jr helped bring me back up and get to 130kg.

Sheiko didn't do a lot for bench, however UD 2.0 did which I can only attribute to a change in volume and rep ranges being varied. Which brings me back to >>38819667 - DO A RANGE OF REPS, INCLUDING 20 REPS, NOT JUST 1-6 REPS!

I was doing TM for a good while, but after moving to a new gym my lifts started to go down (new environment probably fucked with my psych). So I decided, fuck it, i'll do my own thing. Currently doing some Upper/Lower (ULxULxx) split I made up, doing 3x3 on the 4 main lifts and making steady gains, but after gazing upon your wisdom I'm tempted to hop back onto a specific strength program.

I am natty, and It's not honestly one year. I started doing some weird bodyweight stuff when I was around 10. I read a book called combat conditioning and that got me into working out. I did all bodyweight till 22 when I finally got into a gym. At that point, I did bench press, 15 sets of different curls, hack squats, leg press, and whatever random junk I felt like doing for about a year. SOMEHOW I managed to get all my compounds to 1/2/3/4 (1rm, not 5rm) and I decided to start 5/3/1 with accessories added at my discretion.

tl:dr I never really had a program, and the one I'm doing right now I've bastardized anywho.

Fuck around for a bit and figure out what works best for you, the only reason to switch through routine and routine and routine is to take something new from it and learn what you respond best to; THEN create whatever works for you.

There's this asian dude on youtube who weighs like 64kg or so at 5'11 and benches like 180kg and has lifted 14 years and did exactly that to find what works best for him.
