What is the best way to increase verticle jump. Obviously alot

What is the best way to increase verticle jump.

Obviously alot of it is just genetics, but are there certain lifts that help increase vertical jump.

I would think squats, but alot of powerlifters can't jump.

as long as your squats aren't grindy they should help with your vert. A lot of powerlifters can't jump because their sport doesn't require (though often it is benefitted by) explosiveness. Oly lifters can jump like maniacs though

Don't forget about body composition OP.. to be an athletic person you can't hold on to much fat, you have to be atleast below 12% bf.... sub 10% is ideal tho
