Currently lifting on 5 hours of sleep because I accidentally drank caffeine last night. Squatted 265 for 2x8 and got 9 on the amrap. Felt like shit but it's definitely moved a lot worse before. Benching 230 for 2x8 and an amrap. The 2x8 felt pretty decent, despite my fatigue and almost not eating at all today. 10-11 on the next set, I think. so after about a year of a haul because of work abroad I got back into lifting with SL5X5 (I did SS and then Madcow intermediate in the past)
I'm finally starting to reach into decent weights that I could never do as 5x5 before (well, subjective obv but it's steadily nearing my old 1rm's so I'm pleased) of about 160kg squat, 170kg dl and 105kg bench - 84kg bw.

Now two broblems - my left wrist hurts when I squat, I've been using straps and that seems to be taking most of the load off but I know it's probably something I should deal with now since afaik the strap only means that my elbow is taking more of the pressure, I assume it's bad form but honestly it's weird that it's just the left hand, any vids about gripping form for squats (which is what I assume this is) are welcome.

Another pain I've been having is in my left leg at the circled area in the pic, it doesn't hurt during the squat, it hurts after squatting when I'm walking around, it isn't very painful, just slightly annoying but I have no idea what it could be.

Any help is appreciated

I was doing deficits with one bumper and 35's because the owner doesn't like iron plates to touch the floor.

The bar is cheap and whippy, so when I brought it down with enough velocity the middle of the bar whipped up hard (because the 35's still had momentum) and fucked the heel of my hand.

I've been doing a little bit of benching recently and have noticed red pressure marks appearing on my teres minor/rear deltoid area. I wouldn't really care about this normally, but it could be an indication my upper back position is unstable. Does it matter?

Just because you're going through a really rough week it doesn't mean your life is over. Did you even like your job before? Maybe now is a good time to try to get into a career you'd enjoy more or go back to school if you don't have the education necessary for your dream job. I've been there so I know how it is. When my first long term relationship ended I lost my appetite for over a month and dropped 20 lbs, but it definitely gets better. Just try to see this uncomfortable situation as an opportunity to grow and work towards your goals in a way that you wouldn't have before since your life was too comfy to take risks.
