Because armpit hair, whether you're a dude or chick, is fucking nasty. I'm not gay, but I seriously get disgusted when I see a fit dude with body hair. When you're fat there's an excuse, it legitimately looks better on some fat people to have hair but on others it can be nasty. Of course more often than not fat people are fucking gross looking regardless.

I'm starting to think shaving mine might be a good idea, i notice when i get sweaty after walking for like 10 minutes in the heat it fucking stinks even with deodorant, and the fact that i regularly lift weights and I'm thin.

But shaving it seems so fucking gay, and people might say something if i lift my arm while wearing a tank top and they see no hair.

Is it a thing among europeans or something. I'd never heard of it before either until my albanian roommate mentioned that he shaves everything. Before that I always thought it was a piss weak thing to do.

Get a trimmer, buzz it down.
Doesn't look as weird as fully shaved and there is less chance of foliculitis (which can get really bad on armpits.)

Around here, having your pit-hair longer than a couple cm is seen the same way as hairs growing out your ears.

armpit hair just looks unpleasant. I shave mine and have for years.

I once tried shaving the armpit hair completely, but it was uncomfortable since it added a lot of friction when moving the arm.

I trim it down with a clipper.
Same with the rest of my body hair.
I feel like it's simply the civilized thing to do.
Same way we trim the grass in our yards.

I keep my body hair trimmed short just like hair on my head, when it's long it collects more moisture and grease

Plus having shaved junk feels pretty gud

I trim it down to a few mm every other week. I don't sweat a lot but most of the smell settles in the hairs.
Also I think it looks better, especially since I have very little hair on my chest/belly.

Shaved pits and trimmed/shaved asshole/pubes is the way to go desu, feels way cleaner and no dingleberries.
