Anyone here ever had a rotator cuff tear? I'm questing if I have one. Had a bad failed OHP about 2 months ago and my shoulder still bothers me. It's not super intense pain but it's very annoying. I can still work out and sometimes it actually hurts less if I push through the pain during my work out and keep going.
No insurance so no doc.

Um what is with your gif OP
Stop lifting. I'll help you if you stop lifting.
>buy sling
>ice for 2 days
>do pendulums for 60 seconds and bicep curls 1x10 with no weights, you do these two exercises 3-4 times a day to keep your shoulder loose, also do forearm grips if you dont have one buy one to keep your forearm strength
>wear sling for one week or more, keep wearing it until the pain is gone for about 3 days
>do shoulder rehab for 3-5 weeks(just google it)
Yea I tore my rotator cuff after I fell down on a wet surface. It's been 3 months still hurts, I probably need to get it surgically repaired. No money though so I just live with it. One side of my shoulder is noticeably higher than the other. It only hurts when I try to twist it at a weird angle, like trying to scratch my back...

>stop lifting
yea no. I'll fucking lift with my arm hanging by a thread until I get a gf. No excuses.

No doc? Read pic related.

Got a painful sensation in my right shoulder in pic related when trying to lift up the bar. The pain is negligible when not lifting but I can feel it all night if I bench.
As a massage therapist it's really annoying at work. I can't be put in a sling or anything. I'm practically forced to choose suffering over surgery.
Well for starters stop doing any exercise that aggravates it at all (for me that was bench, ohp and lat raises)
Then start doing rotator cuff strengthening exercises

Does it hurt if you push your shoulder blade out?
>no insurance
>no money
gee i wonder what glorious country this is
How do you have a bad fail on ohp? The bar rests on your upper Chest and you lift it up, if you fail a rep the weight just goes back down to your chest.

>pushing out the last extra rep when fatigued
This is why I never do that or "cmon bro you got 1 more rep Ill help ya lets go bruh"

Those are the only reps that count. Sometimes i will push it way beyond what i know i can do i may only have half a rep left in me but it still counts.

It's honestly best to just stop lifting for a week especially when you start having little aches and pains that won't to away. Then deload and do some high rep work.
