Why do you use treadmills when you can just run in the real world where the view is nicer and less repetitive? Does it make any difference at all?

Bad weather

On a treadmill you can force yourself to run at a specific pace and incline

This is just using common sense OP

Why use equipment when you can just run away from your problems
>>
People that use treadmills aren't really runners

No one in the community seriously considers it on par with actual running. A lot of them will just use an elliptical if they want to get in some miles on a machine.
>>
>>38678597
Treadmills produce better results because it forces you to keep the same pace
>>
If I'm doing indoor cardio, I prefer ellipticals tbqh m8.

Bullshit. The way the feet move on it makes it pretty unrealistic compared to proper running cause the feet don't push forward but instead catch up on the band.

This is 100% true for me. I just go into the forest to run.
>>
Cause I can watch tv on it.
>>
>don't want to just run because then I have to listen to my boring retarded brain
>don't want to just watch TV because it's a guilty waste of time
>do both at the same time
>>
>>38678597
>repetitive
>sees the same neighborhood
>plays his same music list repetitively
>doesn't watch tv while running
>>
>>38678597
The real world is full of normies, I like to limit my contact with it
>>
>>38680589
This guy knows his cardio
>>
Because running when it's too hot/cold/wet/etc outside, at nighttime, in an urban environment, sucks.

I'd being doing more damage than help if I run in this shit.
>>

Exactly. Treadmills are actually harder on your legs. If you're going to use a machine once in a while, use an elliptical to work done different muscles and reduce impact on your bones and joints.

Using treadmills is absolute hobby-jogger/dyer status.
