>Lift for two months
>Make decent noob gains
>Get sick, feel like shit, have a fever and all
>"Well whatever, I'll just rest and it'll go away eventually, only weaklings take medications anyway"
>3 days later, still feel like utter shit
>Go see the doctor
>Take the antibiotics and slowly start to feel better everyday
>Haven't been to the gym for nearly 10 days
>Lost all my gains
IT'S NOT FUCKING FAIR.

No gym in a month now. I'm back at square one too. In fact, I've probably put on some fat so square -1!
Need to get my motivation back!

Story of my life.
> Finally got to 2pl8 squat.
>Got some kind of stomach bug
>can barely keep anything down for almost 2 weeks
>lost almost 8lbs
>1pl8 squat becomes hard again
A-at least I'm building it up again
>not even an injury, just coughing like a bitch
wait till you break a bone or strain a muscle, either of these require rest for weeks or months. Then you gotta spend weeks or months rehabbing before you can start again. 4 months of gains gone

It'll be ok OP. I've been sick since Tuesday. I've missed the gym since, a few days of work, and haven't done Jack shit. I'm the type of guy that likes to make every second count so I'm either lifting eating studying or working or working on something on my bucket list. Anyways, now I'm laying in bed, tonsillitis is a bitch. Sometimes when you think you cant be stopped, God punts you in the fucking balls.

P.s. If you actually made gains just remember to eat big still. It'll balance itself out once you get back in. Hard to say since I can't fucking swallow food, I've been living off shakes

If he completely fucked up and ate almost no proteins it is possible.

I don't think gains are lost that fast, you probably just gained a kilo or two
