Tinder ranks people via Elo Scores (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system) so if you're not getting hotties then something is immensely wrong with your profile. Fix that first.

Also, I used Tinder Plus for a month and the quality of girls that I matched with skyrocketed. So basically they reward paying users with a higher Elo score

If I match with a landwhale, I can always just unmatch later. Out of 100 right-swipes I would usually only get 2-4 matches or so anyway.
