I'd go with another lesson tbqh because I like meeting new people and I'm not hugely serious about lifting, just care about aesthetics. This however is just me, think about your priorities when choosing something.

I would personally buy a bunch of active wear or something, plus proper swimmers. I usually just swim in my gym shorts atm because poor.
Because I'm a dirty fucking nerd I'd skip the fitbit entirely and grab a proper heart rate monitor. I will then proceed to make many graphs charting my performance.
