Sup /fit/. I've not been getting the results I want. I work out 5 days a week and I eat at a calorie deficit. (Around 1,200 a day) . I am skinny fat and I can't lose stubborn belly and hip fat. My friend just told me I should be eating more but if I do start eating more I know I will just be getting fatter. Is there any way to lose fat and gain muscle simultaneously?

How long have you been working out that often and eating at a deficit?
What does your calorie split look like? You probably need to cut more carbs away and eat more protein/fat

That makes no difference, get that Atkins shit out of here.

I try to avoid carbs for breakfast and I get most of my calories in after 3 pm.

You're lying dude

Dude you can't see progress in just 3 weeks. If you are cutting the amount of weight you should be that's only 3 lbs of fat gone which isn't that much at all yet. Keep working out and watch the scale, if your weight goes down your calorie deficient is still working.

that bloated feeling may be from too much sodium, if you're not getting enough water and you're taking in too much salt your body will retain fluids to maintain homeostasis, hence the term "water weight"

Stomach is usually the last to go
Come back in 3 months of doing the same thing
