Hey /fit/, I'm trying to help me friend to lose weight (she's a girl). I suggested to her to burn more calories than she eats. My question is how many calories a day should she eat and how many should she burn? Is burning 500 calories and eating 1000 good idea? Help me out!

easiest way unless you want to go big on counting every calorie you eat is firstly check if you have regular meals and drop all snacks between them
then lower food amount in the meals you eat and watch your weight
