What is /fit's opinion on doing body weight or calisthenic

What is /fit's opinion on doing body weight or calisthenic exercises everyday? Would it be beneficial or a waste of time?

I just want to get stronger in my bench and squat. I've seemed to hit a wall and have dropped weight and built back up and hit another wall. I keep burning out

I box. My life is nothing but calisthenics and cardio (and getting punched in the face).

I workout 6 days a week. There might be 1 or 2 days at most that my trainer tells me to not do any calisthenics but that's usually after sparring since that shit is intense.

Personally, I never got into lifting and found myself right at home at the boxing gym. With calisthenics, my energy has increased at work, my dick gets harder because of more blood flow, and I have lost 15 pounds in 2 months (from 150 to 135). I think they're great. But then again, I box, so they are essential for me. At the end of the day its all about your goals like >>38521997

I do
Squats 125 reps
Calf raises 125
Sit ups 125
Push ups 125
Bicycle crunches 250
Leg lifts 125
Lunges 125 (on each leg, so more like 250)

Soon I will add dips and pull ups but atm I'm tense in the ring so my trainer wants to hold of on that until I'm much more relaxed.
Its time consuming and probably not what you want to do if you lift. But if you wanna give it a shot, just start at 50 reps for each exercise. I couldn't do 10 pushups 2 months ago and now I do 125 with no issue

Nothing fancy at all.
Oatmeal, eggs, chicken, whole wheat pasta, peanuts, almonds, a lot of fruits and veggies. I have a lot of improvements to make on my diet, like I need to add fish and find substitutes for pasta and shit like that. But I'm not competing yet and only started 2 months ago..before I was a fast food junkie eating McDonald's every day. I used yo be an extremely picky eater back in the day. In fact if anyone has diet advice for a boxer I'll gladly take it an absorb all the info.

Look into this thing called soylent. Don't buy it though, make your own. Folks there can help you out.

You should figure out your nutritional needs before building a diet.

For Muay Thai I do this 6 days a week:
25 wide grip (chest) pushups
25 knuckle/close grip (tricep) pushups
50 situps
50 squats
50 hop squats
50 ankle raises
x3
Plus 10 minutes of skipping with a weighted rope.
