Any type 1 diabetes bros here? How you fairing lads?
Is gaining easier since we can control our insulin?

Yeah im here. Doing good. Don't think you can match normies on your gains, no matter what we are inferior and get fat easier in case you hit yourself with a shit ton of rapid acting insulin.

That's why I said 'control', though. Stuffing yourself with carbs is not a good idea anyway
Do you have a pump/cgm?
>>38513248
getting my pump in 3 weeks. Been going with needles for the last 26 years. 184/80kg can do 1/2/3/4, been lifting for ages tho. We just gotta work with what we got, diabetics usually have lower test etc. How bout u?

175/70kg, but I only have had diabetes for 7 years. My blood work says test is above average, actually.
I was 3 years with needles, was comfy in the sense that you can have a shower, run, lift without any hindrances, but the reality is you can't achieve the same level of comfort as the pump's control offers you. I have had some hiccups with lifting screwing up my CGM sensors some times but, well, as you said we got to work with what we got.

Ex fatty here, lost a bunch of weight this past year. Back down to "normal" BMI according to the chart.
Just had a blood screening. "Pre-diabetes" is blood glucose above 100.
Mine came in at 99.
Whew, lads!

Oh man a T1D thread. Cool.
I mainly run, I used to lift but moved away and the nearest gym is too expensive. Might start again though soon. Running is so much more beneficial on my insulin sensitivity though, lifting would spike my levels halfway through my workouts.

I've heard of T1D's gaining easier, however that could also be attributed to a T1's natural tendency to be more strict with diet and routine than someone without, as it is sort of drilled into us from a young age.

Pls go away

Do you run without a cgm?
>diabetes runs in the family hard core?
what do?
Well hello. Having trouble with levemir getting hormonal levels really high on the morning if I do gym + mma etc. in the previous day.
gains come pretty easy, people ask if Im on a cycle all the time, my doctor has asked me twice.

Consider changing to lantus or twice a day levemir, ask your doctor about that
Of course the best solution would be a pump where you can set the insulin rate accurately
