I'm getting braces in a couple weeks, and I've heard that it hurts to eat solid food the first day or two after you get them. Should I just have a bunch of protein shakes?

Yeah. It was too bad.
I was a retard and never wore my retainer, but had an extra tooth and it solved that problem (in which they're might be a gap in my bottom teeth.
I highly recommend braces. Also, invisalign might be a good option, but i have no basis to recommend it.
Be very careful when you suck dick for protein. You don't want to unnecessarily overdose on iron.

I'm 19 and have braces atm. They're really no bother. They don't interfere with my gains all that much.

I've had braces twice and done invisalign too. Braces will be uncomfortable for like the first few days and then you forgot about them entirely. Might have a little tenderness whenever you go into get them tightened, but a sleep always fixes it.
Don't bother with invisalign, maybe if the job isn't very big, but they are a pain in the arse to take in and out any time you want to eat, and you've gotta clean them heaps often
just have protein shakes and blend a bunch of shit with them like peanut butter
