PUA was a relatively new thing a few years ago. The state of the art has evolved; you're woefully out of date if you only read the Mystery Method.

It uses women in most of its examples to provide context and illustrate points on masculinity. Even though it relentlessly talks about women it is 0% about them.

I don't know which phony bullshit pua book you read, but the legit stuff doesn't teach meme approaches, gimmicks or formulas.

It's all about teaching you how to be more comfortable in social contexts. For example, the 1st step in some book I read a while ago was

Pua teachings have helped me in being able to chit chat, have conversations with people, and way more confidence.

I am mr. autismo, so I can't just be my natural self and be social. The thing is, I don't know what there is to argue about. You either:

a) think it's all a scam and bullshit. just let them be deluded losers and keep on doing their thing, it doesn't affect you.

The PUA Community as whole has changed, though the Mystery Method is still regarded as the Bible for pickup, they did away with the hacks and "methods" and opted instead to be more natural. Which is terrible for autists because that structure is gone. Some even went as far as saying having no methods and just having fun and improving yourself is the key.

I prefer structure because I have like 0 social skills. As always Social Calibration (not being a sperglord) is the foundation from all of this.
