How many hours a day is it safe to train if I want to go full balls to wall?
8 hours CMON
I would also like to know the answer. I have 6 weeks off coming up and want to be a beast when I go back to work.

If I am super strict about eating enough and sleeping enough, stretching. relaxing properly afterwards, and using creatine; as a natty I found about 2 hours sometimes 3 hours a day 6 days a week can be done. But you go full cocoon mode. Anytime you don't train rest and eat. Track your calories carefully. Make sure to split bodyparts or do DUP.
Here's a study about Norwegian powerlifters who trained dailly:

Frequency/volume/specificity. It all depends on you as an individual/training age, there's no cookie cutter answer. Your "balls to the wall" could be a warm up for someone else.

Yet again nu/fit/ has a noncommittal and unhelpful answer kek

I can recommend the Arnold Schwarzenegger bulk program from bodybuilding.com. I did it two summers ago. Usually took me like 3-4 hours and I got a lot stronger.
Posting since >>38422606
pointed out non commital answers.
I agree with >>38421320 specifically about needing to do splits if you're going to go hard everyday. The Arnold plan does as such. If you do full body everyday I think that would result in weaker lifts over time due to lack of recovery.

I know a guy that goes 2.5hrs/day 6 days a week, but me personally i'm all out of energy in less than 1.5.
