Eating a good amount of protein, calcium, iron and zinc.

Sleeping on time and getting enough sleep.

Being tall is counter productive of building mass. It's much easier to gain and maintain muscle mass as a shorter person. I may be at a larger disadvantage in judo because of my height and that gets annoying, but knowing my maintenance/bulk/cut is 10x easier than the people I face makes me smile.
