Not really. I've been a shut-in for like 4 years but by choice. I generally don't have anxiety or spaghetti meeting new people or talking to girls, I just prefer to be alone most of the time.

In school, especially college, it's really easy to meet new people at the start of every quarter or just around campus, just be decent.

Back when I went to billiards halls I met a few people while smoking out front but never maintained the relationships for reasons mentioned above.
