It doesn't matter where you are, you need an opening. No opening, no genuine reason to talk to her. I've given advice to shitty lifting women and asked another if she worked there (nope, just helping her friend who does).

Ultimately I wouldn't pick up at the gym because that's where the male/female standards are most disparate. I'm not a 10/10 male peaking that plausible 11/10. In the end the only girl I've been even mildly successful with was almost underaged and had a DYEL boyfriend, but I backed off because I'd hate if someone hit on my girlfriend.

Tldr: don't hit on girls at the gym, focus on your lifts.

I go to the gym early in the morning or late at night so no one is around because I have crippling anxiety.

Smile at them, and if they seem receptive go talk to them. Maybe tell them you notice them doing a certain exercise alot and ask them what there goals are. Ive had girls pick up on me using the same method.
