Weight loss gains
I lost 6 pounds in a week of running, deficits, and lifting.
Should I recalculate my TDEEE again ?
Yeah, whatever you're doing is working
Better change things up

Sarcasm?
I would imagine my new TDEEE is smaller since I lost weight.
Should I, say, update the current body weight stat on My Fitness Pal?
Im pretty sure you're supposed to set your TDEE to your goal weight.

I'm basing it off MFP
When I go to update my Progress (Current Body Weight) it says it will recalculate calories. The question is, should I log it and allow it modify the calorie calculations.

>six pounds in a week
How the fuck did you burn 21,000 calories? That's like burning 3000 calories a day and not eating all week

Wtf ignore him. Yes every 5lbs you want to recalculate your TDEE since it gets lower as you lose weight and base your deficit on the new TDEE.
no
1. most of the weight lost was water weight which has little impact on your TDEE. it doesn't really count as weight loss because it comes back when you start eating normally again.
2. you should only calculate your TDEE to get an initial estimate. after that you adjust your calorie intake based on what happens to your bodyweight.

I don't know. Maybe my scale is shit but I dropped 6 pounds.
For reference, should I Update my Current Body Weight here to my new one?
>>38133134
You under estimate manlet metabolism.
>>38133136
So I adjust it based on my current body weight?
>>38133148
Are you weighing yourself every day?
I can gain 15lbs in a week loading creatine. I can lose 10lbs in a week by avoiding salt.
>>38133182
No I weigh every week Sundays. Any benefit to weighing more frequently?
What do you think? Should I recalculate the TDEE again based on new weight?
>>38133194
Weigh yourself every morning after you pee, before you eat.
Chances are your TDEE calculation isn't accurate to begin with. You adjust it based on if you're losing or not losing. You lost 6lbs of water weight the first week, wait and see if you lose 3lbs next week. If you don't, make adjustments then.
Everyone's body is different. A calculator can only give you a guideline. If that guideline isn't working for you, adjust it.

I do weight first thing after a piss and before a meal.
So I only change it if I stop losing weight?
Wouldn't my TDEE be lower now that I weight less?
OK I updated my Current Bodyweight in MFP and the calorie limit hasn't changed. Apparently it recalculates after 10 pounds of change.
