I drank two of these before my workout and actually felt lethargic and tired throughout, what gives?
Why
Guess I will ask this here.
When I drink monster, I shit blood. Not "I have blood in my stool", I will shit straight up blood at the same time as having diarrhea. The fuck is going on?

Did you eat anything else?

You were dehydrated, and the caffeine and other diuretics exacerbated the effects

You have colon cancer
It raises your blood sugar so high that the caffeine barely affects you until your blood levels stabilize
Take caffeine pills or black coffee instead

>black coffee

Not OP here, but that would explain why these don't do anything for me

You're going to fucking die

cancer or internal bleeding or haemorrhoids

>please put some cream and sugar in my coffee, but not too much. I wouldn't want it spilling on my dress. Tee hee.
What is the best source of caffeine ?
(food, drinks, type of coffee, pill, brand, etc..)
I cant drink anything other than water or milk before working out. All that shit with the high fructose corn syrup makes me feel ill.

Same thing happened with me a while back

In terms of price, powder is cheapest, followed closely by pills.
In terms of effects, anything with theanine in (e.g tea); it helps to temper the "speedy" effects of the caffeine, making you more focused over all.
Guarana extract did wonders for me. Better than pills

Thanks bro.

Too much caffeine has actually the reverse effect than you would expect.

Same happened to me yesterday, ruined my entire workout. I got my hands on some long gone Battery Remix so I had one of those in the morning and I had a small Burn in the evening and didn't drink enough water during the day. Failed my squats and got the worst exertion head-ache ever, still feel like shit.
